Birthday competition

It will be 6 years on the 9th June, since i first opened the doors of Thyme. As a thank you to all our customers you are invited to enter our competition to win a GIANT limited edition jar of Tracklements Onion Marmalade. Tracklements are also celebrating - their onion marmalade is 10 years old. They have produced a limited number of giant jars, each is numbered and the label illustrated by a local artist.
All you have to do to win, is guess how many onions it took to make a giant jar of onion marmalade. All correct answeres will be entered into a draw and the winner announced on 9th June.
Why not join us on our birthday and enjoy a slice of birthday cake - on us -with your drink ?
We are currently selling 'cupcakes for Christies'. These cupcakes have been knitted by the Knitting Noras and proceeds will go to Christie's Hospital.
I am off on holiday for 2 weeks and back for our birthday celebrations.
Hope to see you soon.

Birthday competition

Apologies for the lack of posts during April - its the end of the financial year for Thyme which means a busy month doing paperwork for me!

It's our 6th birthday in June - doesn't time fly? To celebrate we will be inviting you to enter our competition which will start 22nd May. It could be you - watch this space for more details......

We have some great new products in our cookshop. I especially love the new colours of the Typhoon kitchen scales (green and blue), who wouldn't love a pair of these in their kitchen?

If colour is your thing, then treat yourself to one of our 'rainbow' cafetieres, (pictured)available in 7 colours .

Egg -citing new products

Easter is nearly upon us, and so are the Easter school holidays. If you're looking for ways to keep the kids amused , why not treat them to some of our cookie cutters and make biscuits over Easter. We have traditional gingerbread men or Easter shapes, as well as vehicles, dinosaurs, horses and space themed cookies.
We also have more of the popular silicone tools including new pan handle covers- to prevent burning your hands, jelly moulds, muffin cases and much more.
If you like to bake we are now stocking a lovely green fluted edge pie dish - and rolling pins and baking beans too.
We also have many new items in the deli - Ranch dressing, mint sauce, and mushroom & tarragon pasta sauce from Atkins & Potts. A wide range of curds including blackcurrant, chocolate and ginger, and local honey is back in stock.
Hope to see you soon.
