Lovely local honey
I am delighted to be a stockist for Martin Ainsworth's local honey. It seems my customers are too. The jars of honey from bees in the Bolton area, are flying off the shelves. Maybe it's because local honey is reported to be a natural treatment for hay fever, or maybe it's just because it's delicious. Either way it's clear that you love it, I only hope that Martin's bees can produce enough!

STARLY SPICE CO
Big thanks to Stephen & Carly from Starly spice co for their free product tasting, held at Thyme today. Customer feedback was really positive and we now have full stock of their whole range including their 3 new spice mixes - pepper chicken, biryani & balti. Each of their spice mixes serves 4 and comes with a recipe on the pack. Just add your meat and some basic ingredients and everyone will believe you have been cooking for hours!

THYME FOR AN ALLOTMENT?
This year, for the first time i have attempted to grow veg in my garden at home. Tonight I harvested my first crop - some lovely peas. Ok so there were only about 8 pods ready to be eaten, but what they lacked in numbers they more than made up for in taste. They were the sweetest peas i have ever tasted and i am hoping the plants will produce more yet. Now I am looking hopefully at my broad beans, courgettes, squash and tomatoes, maybe I will even have enough for a whole meal!! I wonder if i should put my name down for an allotment?
