We are pleased to be selling cupcakes from Sugardoodle Bakery (www.sugardoodle.co.uk).
Our first batches arrive tomorrow. Suzi bakes lots of cupcake flavours, so we will be starting with just a few ...be sure to let us know which your favourite is.
Dandelion & Burdock cake has been so popular that we have decided to keep it on the menu for now...it's made with Mr Fitzpatrick's delicious cordial (www.mrfitzpatricks.com), be sure to try a piece if you haven't already.
Thyme Deli is a deli, cafe & cookshop in Horwich, Bolton. We aim to bring an extensive range of quality ingredients to Horwich. We love local but also stock a good range of British, Spanish & Italian products. Our cafe menu uses the great quality ingredients available in the deli, cooked with love and served with a smile. Thyme also sells a range of cookware, utensils and aprons for keen cooks. We hope to see you soon.

British food fortnight and lovely cakes
Celebrate the best of British food with one of our lovely cakes. We have been making dandelion and burdock cake (made with Mr Fitzpatricks d & b), which has been selling...well..like hot cakes!
Today we also took our first delivery of Cartmel's new pud - damson & apple cobbler, a classic English pud made with Lyth valley damsons.
Both are available to take home or to eat in the cafe, with or without clotted cream!

British food fortnight 18 Sep - 3 Oct
It's almost the start of British food fortnight. Why not celebrate the wealth of great British products available and buy British.
Thyme has a varied selection of products which celebrate seasonal and local produce.
If you grow your own, and you are lucky enough to have more fruit or veg than you can use, why not preserve it? We now stock preserving jars, labels, wax discs and straining bags.
Look out for special recipes celebrating British products throughout the fortnight.
