The South Lancs branch of the Clandestine Cake Club met at Thyme today. It was lovely to host this event and of course to taste the fabulous cake. The Theme was Spring and the weather was certainly Spring like.
If you are interested in going the South lancs branch the events are listed on the CCC website or contact Susan via her blog http://notjustanyoldbaking.blogspot.co.uk/
Sorry about the pics - they are from my phone ( I forgot my camera)
Thyme Deli is a deli, cafe & cookshop in Horwich, Bolton. We aim to bring an extensive range of quality ingredients to Horwich. We love local but also stock a good range of British, Spanish & Italian products. Our cafe menu uses the great quality ingredients available in the deli, cooked with love and served with a smile. Thyme also sells a range of cookware, utensils and aprons for keen cooks. We hope to see you soon.

New arrivals for Spring
I love this time of year. The days seem longer, the air gets warmer (well a little), the spring flowers make everything look brighter and new stock has arrived at Thyme.
Tracklements have introduced Pear & Perry chutney as their new seasonal product, alongside a 'Right Royal Pickle' for the Jubilee. Both are in stock at Thyme.
Union Jacks are everywhere including on Montezumas new 'pudding bars' of chocolate. Try Treacle Tart, Eton Mess, or Lemon Meringue at Thyme.
We also have some new Kitchenware items and more arriving later this week.
Pop in for a browse sometime soon....
